These terms govern your use of WonkyPost (“we”, “us”), available at wonkypost.com. By placing an order you agree to them.
What we do
You upload a photo, we generate a deliberately bad portrait from it, print it as a 5x7 inch greeting card with your message inside, and post it to the address you provide. Each card is £7.99 including UK delivery. Cards are made to order.
Your photo and your responsibilities
- You must have the right to upload the photo and the consent of anyone shown in it. Don’t upload images of people who haven’t agreed to be turned into a terrible portrait.
- Don’t use WonkyPost to create anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- You’re responsible for the message you write and the delivery address you enter. We print what you give us.
- We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (and refund it) if it breaches these terms.
The artwork
You keep the rights to the photo you upload. You grant us the licence needed to process it, generate the portrait, and fulfil your order. We may use anonymised example outputs to promote the service; tell us at hello@wonkypost.com if you’d rather we didn’t.
Nature of the product
The portraits are intentionally amateur and unflattering — that’s the point. They are a likeness “close enough to be funny”, not an accurate or professional portrait. Results vary.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care but to the extent permitted by law we’re not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
